LUMI MAGIQUE FOUNDATION BY LOREAL PARIS - review

LUMI MAGIQUE FOUNDATION BY LOREAL PARIS

The Loreal website claims:
"The first liquid light foundation that offers a perfectly natural complexion, infused by light for a healthy-looking glow like never before! With SPF 18 and 12HR magic hold, Lumi Magique is suitable for all skin types'
MY REVIEW

COVERAGE: Medium. It is buildable. The coverage looks quite natural and blends into my skin well.

BLENDABLITY: 4-5/5 (personally). I didn't have a problem with caking or such. To cover my face, I find 1.5-2 pumps does the trick.

FINISH: Dewy. If you have oily skin, you WILL need to powder this foundation well. The creators are not kidding you when they say, it gives you a glow.

SKIN TYPE SUITABILITY: Dry- normal/combination. The dewy finish will enhance shine. Can be mattified with powder though.

COLOUR RANGE: Poor. If you have light-tanned skin, there are shades available. There doesn't seem to be deep shades. My shade is N1 'Pure Pearl'. It is the lightest shade I believe. I have pink undertone skin that  is super light, and it matches perfectly.

DOES IT WEAR FOR 12 HOURS?: I wouldn't say so. After about 6 hours of wearing the foundation, I found the texture changed. I have combination skin, so the oily areas became quite shiny.

PACKAGING: I quite liked the pump packaging. I can control how much product I want. The pump makes it more hygienic.

HOW I APPLIED IT?: I applied it with a stippling brush. I would also recommend using a kabuki brush.

SIMILAR FOUNDATIONS: Nars sheer glow.

Urban Decay Naked Palette 2 review + how to spot a fake!

 Urban Decay Naked Palette 2!

Plus how to spot a fake!

Here is what the palette looks like from the packet. The actual packaging is metal and a rose gold colour. The packing is much more protective then the original. It wont break easily or be damaged from water.

Now to the colours!

Overall I love the colours in the palette. My only downfall is it could have done with a few more matte colours. I find the colours have good pigmentation. And If you love shimmer, there is no shortage!

The first four colours have warm undertones and involve one matte colour.
Foxy: A matte beige colour. It is a good highlight colour, especially if the rest of your eye make-up is on the shimmery side.
Half baked: An extremely shimmery gold colour, very pigmented. It is also in the original Naked palette.
Bootycall: Another good highlight colour or, an all over colour with winged eye-liner, and bold lips. It is quite shimmery.
Chopper: A beautiful copper shimmer colour.

The next for are quite neutral colours. Tease is the only mate in this section.
Tease: A soft matte brown. It looks more pink in the photo then it really is.
Snakebite: A shimmery bronze colour. For some reason I love this colour!
Suspect: Another shimmer gold colour, but it does not have as much yellow as half baked.
Pistol: A shimmery colour that is a cross between a gunmetal and silver. Very pigmented.

First four colours. Sorry tease didn't show
as much as I would have liked

The next four colours are on the cooler side of the scale. Blackout being the only matte.
Verve: A very shimmery silver white.
YDK: My favourite colour! It is a like a shimmery rose gold colour!
Busted:  A dark shimmery brown. It doesnt have as much glitter as some of the other shimmery colours.
Blackout: A matte black

And you get a mini lip junkie in naked! It is a sheer gloss in a light pink :) It is a lot more sheer than the photo.

Now for how to spot a fake!!

Fakes of this product are everywhere on ebay so here is a quick guide to spot the difference!

1. They do not come with the mini lip junkie.
2. They come in a gold colour box, not the box with a clear cover
3. There are no names underneath the colours
4. The colours are off so compare with photos!
5. The actual package is warmer in colour to the real one
6. They use a sticker on the back where it says "beauty with an edge"

If you are buying on ebay look out for the following things:
1. Whether it is money back if the product is not real
2. If they take the photo of the product or is it a stock photo. From experience, those with a stock photo are quite often fake. This was combined with no guarantee of authenticity.
3. DO NOT rely on feedback, many don't know the product is fake.
4. DO email the seller

L'Oreal • Studio Secrets Magic Perfecting Base Primer - review

The L'Oreal studio secrets magic perfecter base is a decent primer that isn't expensive. I quite like it. It doesn't smell bad but it has a weird texture. It's thick and tacky almost when you take it out of the pot. BUT when It is blended it has a lovely velvet finish. It isn't sticky or greasy, I found it makes my skin feel very soft. I do need a bit personally to make it spread across my face evenly. I find it does make my foundation go on smoothly and it helps it stay on. It's not perfect but I quite like it! :)
I think it is meant to be a corrector, I don't find it does much for me.

Too faced shadow insurance - review

Favourite eyeshadow primer by far! It keeps by eyeshadow in place through the day. Keep in mind I have combination skin.
It is a thick(ish) liquid by texture and a beige colour. It seems to melt into your skin and I don't find it leaves much of a residue. You only need a tiny amount, it spreads so easily!!
I would rate this product 5/5.

Number one nemesis by opi-review

Number one nemesis by opi from the new amazing spiderman collection!

I love this colour, it is very similar, possibly dupe for graphite by Chanel.
The colour seems to be a gunmetal base with a lot of gold reflects/shimmer. Application starts off sheer, it takes 3-4 coats to have a nice opaque look. The formula itself is nothing fancy, applies nicely, not streaky or clumpy. I feel it would suit all skin tones and I would say it is an autumn or winter nail polish. If someone knows the name of an Opi nail polish the is possibly the same but silver reflects let me know! Scroll for swatch:)

Xx

Also I will be shortly reviewing and swatching the naked 2 palette by Urban Decay within the week.
